    Lesson Plan

Before the lesson, write on index cards situations students might face in which they have to say no to drugs. A few sources for examples:

Divide the class into small groups. Give each group a card with a situation. Tell each group to make up a short skit or play showing the situation and a solution to the problem. Then have each group act out the skit.

Extension: Have students discuss each skit and offer other solutions to the problem.

    Assessment

Observe students' participation. Evaluate students' skits and solutions to the problems.
