What’s the nicest thing a student or colleague has ever done to help you?

I sat down and filled out a bad behavior note for one of my students. We read the questions and he had to sign it and take it home. One of the questions was: "How can I help you to have better behavior?" He said, "Teach me."

If you weren't a teacher, what would you be doing?

I always wanted to be a mom. I am a mother of three adult children. I've always wanted to be a teacher. I am a pre-school teacher. I love children, teaching, sharing my time with children. I would be focused more on my non-profit organization, Characters of Character.

What TV show are you most embarrassed about loving?

"Parenthood" and "Dancing with the Stars," although I'm not embarrassed.

What is the most challenging part of teaching?

Waiting to see positive results in any daily situation or conversation.
