All-Star Effort!

Share

Students take charge of posting their best work to this bulletin board, which changes every week or two throughout the school year.

How many students do you have in your classroom? Divide a bulletin board into at least that many squares and give each student a space on the bulletin board that is his/hers for the entire school year. Students are responsible for making sure a new piece of their best work -- everything from spelling tests to art projects -- is displayed every week or two.

DIRECTIONS

Set aside a space on a large bulletin board so each student has a spot to call his or her own.

Cut out large star shapes (see source) to place in each student's bulletin board spot. Write each student's name on a star to identify the bulletin board space that is his/hers.

Display a variety of smaller colorful cutout stars around this bulletin board's headline, "All-Star Effort."
