Best Instructional Videos: Plagues During the Middle Ages

In the 1340s and '50s (during the Middle Ages), a deadly outbreak of bubonic plague swept across China to Western Asia and Europe. In Europe, the outbreak was known as "The Black Death" because of the black spots that it produced on victims' skin. Between 1347 and 1352, 25 million people died.
