Materials Needed

  • half-gallon milk cartons
  • brown, black, and yellow construction paper
  • scissors
  • Halloween stickers
  • clear tape
  • white glue
  • yarn
  • hole punch

Lesson Plan

In this lesson, students construct haunted houses with open doors and windows around cropped milk cartons. Placed on a counter with rolling fog and webbing (stretched cotton batting or cotton balls), this nifty project will make an attractive classroom display, and students will enjoy taking their products home to hold their treats on Halloween night!
