Lesson Plan

Provide each student with an online or a printed copy of the Volcanic Explosivity Index and a copy of the Explosivity Work Sheet. Ask students to answer the questions based on the information in the chart.

Assessment

Evaluate students on their responses to the questions on the Explosivity Work Sheet.
