Site URL: https://www.olympic.org/
Content: During the Olympic games, this site serves as a news source for everything Olympics. That's useful, bit not overly so, as any number of sports and news sites also cover the games. During the Olympic offseason, however, Olympic.org is the only freshly updated repository for Olympics news.
Design: The site is a little outdated, but, the design is intuitive and easy enough to use. Tabs at the top offer drop-down navigation, and while it’s a bit unwieldy, it’s fine.
Review: If you care about ice dancing in a non-Olympic year, this is the place to go. Olympic.org also offers athlete profiles and a very large amount of information. It’s a useful classroom tool that has less media gloss than the typical sports site.
Bottom Line: Olympic.org offers few frills, but it’s a useful site that serves as an excellent jumping off point to study or research the games.
