Rewards Reward the
Community, Too

Try to build rewards that provide fun and help make the wider community a better place to live too. Perhaps you can reward students with a walk to the park to play Frisbee Golf and other games. But, before students play, provide trash bags and have them gather trash. Leaving behind a clean park helps the community and gives students a sense of pride. The internal reward of feeling good for giving back to the community will be even greater and more memorable than the reward you gave to students!
