A simple gesture that rewards students who regularly complete their homework is a break from it, and a fun way to give out such homework "passes" is the coupon. Formats may vary, but a weekly coupon for students who have turned in all assignments is a good place to begin.
The coupon may be used in place of an assignment, or you may require two or more coupons to equal one assignment according to your preference. Your coupon may be a small sheet of paper or a notecard, or you might draw or stamp it on a homework page for students to "clip and save."
You might even distribute envelopes for students to decorate and use as "coupon organizers."
