The Netherlands might be a small country but it haves more rivers and canals than most large countrys have. If all the rivers and canals in the Netherlands was set out end to end, they wood stretch for 4,000 miles. Many ship carry goods on the rivers of the Netherlands. After the United States and japan, the Netherlands has the third busyest ports in the world. It has the largest port city in the world too that city is Rotterdam.
