Dwight D Eisenhower was born in Denison Texas, on October 14, 1890. He gain fame as a military leader during World War II and the Korean War. With the slogan "I like Ike," Eisenhower one a big victory in the presidential election of 1952 he was re-elected in 1956. While he was President, he work hard to gaining equal rights for black people. "There must be no second class citizens in this country, he wrote.
