Keywords
Wright brothers, aviation, transportation, crossword, biography, puzzle
Lesson Plan
In this activity, students will read (or you will read aloud) brief biographies of the Wright brothers. If students do the research, they might do it on their own or they might work in small groups. In small groups, each student might be responsible for reading a different biographical resource [see list of sources below]. If the students read different sources, provide time for them to share the most interesting facts they learned with other members of their groups. Then they can work as a team to complete The "Wright" Puzzle (and hunt down facts they did not learn in their reading).
