Description: Gummy Greenhouse Gases is a hands-on activity in which students construct molecules of ozone, water vapor, carbon dioxide, and more, out of gumdrops and toothpicks. Upon completing the activity, students investigate how Earth's atmosphere is heating up and why scientists need to know, not just what gases are present in the atmosphere, but where they are located.
