Tech Site Offers 10 EdTech Tools for the Fall

School is right around the corner, and technology continues to give teachers innovative and effective tools to use in the classroom. 

From Google Classroom to Edmodo, teachers are preparing their laptops, tablets and other devices to be equipped with the best and most popular picks for education, said EdSurge.com. The article provided teachers with the top 10 "edtech" tools educators will use this fall. 

One of the tools on the list is LittleBits, which gives students the opportunity to make electronic prototypes, no matter what their skills or background is. 

"Make a DIY Etch-a-Sketch using the Arduino Starter Bundle or show off your skills and create a Mars Rover using the Space Kit," the article said. "The base kit is $99, and prices go up from there."

Another item on the list is Diigo, a tool that helps teachers save websites locally. 

"Using Diigo, educators can bookmark websites, highlight and attach sticky notes directly onto the page, and share them with others," it said. "Math teacher Lindsey Murphy explained that she’ll use it to “share resources with other teachers and create inquiry based lessons for students.”
