Praising Your Children

Parent Pointers is one of Education World's Newsletters 'R Us features. This series provides principals with ready-made features that can be cut-and-pasted into school newsletters. Parent Pointers provides simple, practical tips for parents on a variety of topics from raising good citizens to improving a child's school performance.


INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Using this Parent Pointers feature is simple. Just click on an image above and copy and paste it into your school newsletter template. Voila! -- ready-made content of interest to your students' parents! You can use the image in your send-home or online school-to-parent newsletter without permission. Any other use of this material in print or on the Web is not allowed without the written consent of EducationWorld.com.

For PC Users:

  • Select the image above that you would like to paste into your newsletter. (The image on the left is created to fit a 3-column newsletter format; the image on the right is created to fit a 2-column newsletter format.)
  • Right click on the image you wish to use. Choose Copy from the pop-up menu.
  • To paste the image into your newsletter, position the cursor where you want the image to appear. In the main menu, select Edit and Paste (or Control + V).

    For Mac Users:

  • Select the image above that you would like to paste into your newsletter. (The image on the left is created to fit a 3-column newsletter format; the image on the right is created to fit a 2-column newsletter format.)
  • Position your cursor on the image.
  • Click and hold the mouse button, then drag the image into your newsletter.
  • When the image appears in position in your newsletter, release the mouse button.
