Dec. 10: Using Classroom and Google Apps with High School and College Students Webinar
In this webinar you will hear from Alice Keeler, a high school and college teacher who is successfully using Google Apps for Education and Classroom with her students. Alice will give examples of several assignments she has run using Google Classroom, which have improved student learning, collaboration, and innovation. At the end there will be time for Q&A.
Alice Keeler is a Google Certified Teacher, New Media Consortium K12 Ambassador, Microsoft Innovative Educator and LEC Admin & Online and Blended certified. Taught high school math for 14 years. Adjunct Professor of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology at California State University Fresno. Alice coaches with teachers and administrators on the use of technology and Google Apps in the classroom. Founder of CoffeeEDU. Doctoral student at Boise State University in Educational Technology. Passionate that kids are not failures she studies motivational assessment practices with an emphasis in gamification. Alice lives in Fresno CA with her husband and 5 children.
Jennifer Holland is a Program Manager on the Google Apps for Education product team and Classroom team working alongside administrators, teachers, and students to improve the Google Apps for Education product suite. In addition to her core responsibilities, Jennifer is actively involved in employee volunteering and started Google Reach - a corporate volunteer program for Google, is the founder and director of the Community Leaders Program - a digital literacy program offered in six cities, and is the committee lead for employee volunteering for the NYC office. Jennifer graduated from Fairfield University in Marketing and received a MBA from the University of San Francisco.
