REVIEW:
This Web site presents information in a straight-forward manner. The topics discussed here all concern the use of technology in education and cover a wide range of ideas about its implementation. The site has a section on child safety and the Internet that outlines Acceptable Use Policies (AUP's), filtering tools and parental guidance; a section on how technology affects education, which contains surveys, literature, reports and case studies that explore whether or not technology improves education; an area with hardware and software requirements that includes tools and reports for teachers; and a "how to get funding" section that has information on grant writing and strategies as well as resources for funding. This is a good place to keep up with the latest information on educational technology and a good place for those who are just starting to use technology in the classroom.
