Cyber Safety
Info on predators, privacy, piracy, bullying, bad content, and social networks.
Grade Level: Pre-K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12

Developed by the California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) Region IV, Cyber Safety is a site that provides information and resources for teaching young people the safe and responsible use of the Internet and other technologies including mobile phones, digital cameras, and Webcams.
The site is divided into several main areas. Links to the these areas are displayed in a navigation menu on the right side of the page.

Internet safety is a concern of parents, teachers, and anyone who works with children. The CTAP Region IV project takes some of the worry out of student Internet use. The main areas of the site include topics such as cyberbullying, piracy and plagiarism, social networks, and inappropriate content. Each area provides links to resources -- including articles, videos, and games -- for educators, parents, and students. Included at the site is a classroom poster on Cyber Safety funded by AT&T Education.
