http://www.eskeletons.org/

CONTENT:
Eskeletons gives students the opportunity to study the human anatomy and compare it to that of a baboon or gorilla in a fun and interactive way.
AESTHETICS:
The site is well designed and uses the latest technology for the interactivity. Special plug-ins and players are required and can be downloaded from the site.
ORGANIZATION:
The pages are designed in frames with a left side navigation menu. The main learning areas of the site can also be accessed from the main frame image map. Subsequent pages have instructions for using the tools and a bottom navigation menu.
REVIEW:
Students will find this educational and interactive site a painless way to learn about anatomy. By choosing the bone that you want to view and then clicking on the viewer, it is possible to view several images of the bone and select overlays that show the muscles. The bones of the different animals can be placed side-by-side for comparison using the "comparative anatomy" link. 3-D renderings are also available for most of the bones. Additionally there is a set of life size images of the human skeleton that can be downloaded for use in the classroom.
