REVIEW:
Students and teachers who are studying butterflies will find useful information and wonderful pictures at this site. Students can view a brief description of some 18 species along with high-quality photos, learn about the four stages of the butterfly's life cycle, or find information on planting a butterfly garden that discusses host and nectar plants with a brief description of each. The Butterfly Journal tracks the progress of butterflies and provides video clips from the live butterfly cam. The site also provides a photo album of the school's butterfly festival, a live camera feed from the butterfly lab, printable crossword and word search puzzles, and a list of resources, including books, videos, and Web sites.
