REVIEW:
At some time in their life, all youngsters wish to be or wonder what it would be like to be a super hero. This WebQuest gives them the opportunity to explore the possibilities. The activity encourages students to apply the concepts they have learned about the electromagnetic spectrum to create a superhero and his sidekick. The finished product is a comic strip or newspaper article. A rubric for evaluation is included. Though the activity is complete, teachers might want to take the idea and flesh it out somewhat to make it a more in-depth learning experience for their students.
