Sponsored by Otus, 1:1 Learning Made Easy.
The "Otus 2015 Totally Tech Teacher" Award honors a public school teacher who is successfully using technology (the Internet/social media, mobile technology, apps, gaming) in the classroom.
The award, inspired by otus co-founders, Pete Helfers, Chris Hull and Andrew Bluhm recognizes the challenges teachers face integrating technology into the classroom and honors a teacher who best overcomes those challenges to create a more effective and efficient learning experience for students.
The top 5 selected teacher submissions will receive a new Samsung Chromebook 2 to help them accomplish even more with tech in the classroom.
The Samsung Chromebook 2 is fast, light, and portable with 11.6” display and only 0.66 inches thin and 2.43 lbs.
Who Can Participate: All nominations must be for grades 3-12 classroom teachers actively teaching in U.S. public schools. Teachers can nominate themselves.
Click here to fill out the entry form and tell us how you use technology in the classroom to create a more effective and efficient learning experience for students.
Deadline: The contest runs from August 1 to November 30, 2015.
