The app also shares nearby literary events, hosts online book clubs, offers author access and preview news about upcoming books and more.
Can I use it in the classroom?: For teachers who are looking for books to share or assign to their students, Goodreads is a great, easy and accessible app. It offers a lot of resources and can be used for organization as well. Teachers can invite their students to explore books by genre. Students in the same classroom might be reluctant to share details about what books they've read and Goodreads fills the gap as students will see exactly what students their age are reading across the country.
