We're into the second week of September, which means that Apple is revealing its latest version of the iPhone. Where previous events were met with jaded yawns, this year's announcement has the tech world buzzing.
In addition to the flagship phone, dubbed the iPhone 5S, Apple introduced a new, less-expensive model, the iPhone 5C. Where the S version improves on the specs from its predecessor, the C replaces it. Gone is the iPhone 5 from Apple's collection, and in its place is the C, which retails for $100 less than the S. Both devices will be available for pre-order in the coming weeks.
It's no secret in the education world that gifted education training is not a priority for new teachers. According to the tradition, if the animal saw its...
One of the activities my students (pre-service teachers) said they appreciated the most was providing them with an array of discussion/sharing out strategies that they could use with their own elementary students. What I really shared were protocols, many I had learned from my own professors, which could be easily adopted for various lessons and content.
Many came from the National School Reform Faculty's web...
