App Name: The Room 2
Cost: $4.99
What does it promise? Enter a compelling world of mystery and exploration by following a trail of cryptic letters from an enigmatic scientist known only as “AS.”
Does it deliver? The direct follow-up to the 2012 hit “The Room,” The Room 2 is a physical puzzler, wrapped in a mystery game, inside a beautifully tactile 3D world. The game play picks up right after the events of “The Room,” as players must navigate a new series of puzzles to escape from their otherworldly prison. Users discover how the puzzles are opened and how to operate their contents to solve the mystery. Along the way, they encounter challenging puzzles, codes and engineering projects. Students playing the game won’t even realize they’re giving their brains a workout.
Can I use it in my classroom? Use The Room 2 to reward students while encouraging critical thinking.
