Nation's Testing Landscape Proves Diversity in Education Assessment

States vary widely in terms of their plans for student assessments aligned with the Common Core Standards. Their approaches to testing are far more fragmented now than even a year ago, when all but a handful of states planned to use the PARCC or Smarter Balanced assessments.

Results of a nationwide reporting project on states' testing plans for the 2014-15 school year were released by Education Week.
