Leaders of technological advancement in Minneapolis-St. Paul formed "Educelerate Twin Cities," a forum regarding "the next big industrial success for the Twin Cities of Minnesota," reports Education News.
The forum, which brings together 125 industry and education partners, plans to develop new business ideas. The forum was held in the beginning of May with the purpose of making Minnesota a leader in the education technology industry. The article says Minnesota is number one in the country in terms of the number of available jobs per capita related to medical technology. The state also has 400 companies representing the biopharmaceutical and biologic industries.
Educelerate has other monthly forums in cities including Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. The program is part of a larger network, EdReach, which shares ideas about education technology all around the nation via podcasts, social media, webinars and more.
