Over the next 10 years, job prospects for educators are expected to go from "good" to "excellent." Schools, especially in cities, are even having trouble finding teachers. The number of teacher jobs is also expected to increase in high-demand fields such as mathematics, science and languages.
Between 2009 and 2014, data show an uptick in employment opportunities for aspiring teachers, according to Teacher's Digest. Math teaching jobs increased by 83 percent, English teaching jobs increased by 75 percent and administrator jobs increased by 87 percent.
