Ryan Thomas, an ASCD Edge contributor, has outlined five fun activities that teachers can use on the last day of class.
"The end of the school year is always a strange and exciting time," said Thomas. "Like my students, I look forward to a break, but I always have mixed emotions about parting ways after spending the better part of the year with them."
Thomas listed five great ways that teachers can close out the school year, learn from their students and provide them with clarity on lessons learned. Activities include Conducting Interviews, Opening Time Capsules, Having Students Evaluate Themselves, Role Playing and Setting Goals for the Summer.
