Just when teachers and families thought it was time to kick back and put school on hold, retail stores are at it again, even earlier this year, with their back-to-school sales.
Stores such as J.C. Penney, Walmart, Target and Lands' End are reaching out to customers with sales on clothing, backpacks, school supplies and more, according to Time.com.
"Retailers are going to do what they can to try to get consumers into the stores to shop, but the fact of the matter is they might not have much luck," said Britt Beemer, chairman of America's Research Group. "There aren't any parents that I can find who have even thought of back-to-school shopping, because for most kids, they haven't even gotten out of school yet."
