Teachers at a Catholic school are fighting a controversial contract that prohibits them from supporting out-of-school lifestyles the school says are not in line with its values. The contract forbids teachers from living with and having a sexual relationship with an unmarried partner. Another aspect of the contract prohibits the support of LGBT lifestyles.
According to CNN.com, rather than signing the contract, teachers are choosing to leave their jobs.
"It is an embarrassment and a scandal, and will drive even more Catholics away from an institution so out of touch with its times," said Robert Hague, a high school English teacher of 50 years.
