"All Star Teachers" Contest Announced by People, MLB and Target

Play ball! People magazine, Major League Baseball (MLB) and Target Corp. have announced 90 finalists in a campaign recognizing current and retired teachers who have positively impacted their students and communities.

The campaign, "Target Presents PEOPLE All-Star Teachers," will select 30 winners from each MLB club and recognize them at the Pre-Game Ceremony of the 2014 MLB All-Star Game on July 15. 

"Fans are encouraged to visit to view the full list of the 90 finalists (three representing each MLB club) and vote on their favorite stories through June 29," said the announcement.
