Wrap It Up

This is a fun all-staff activity to do at Halloween time or at anytime you are trying to wrap up instruction or a project.

Begin the activity by arranging teachers into teams. Give each team four rolls of toilet paper. (The number of rolls can be adjusted to the size of the team. You be the judge.) Explain that the object of the activity is to wrap one team member like a mummy. The team that uses all of their toilet paper first and returns all the empty cardboard toilet paper rolls to the leader wins the game.

Be sure to tell the teams that they must wrap the entire body of the person being wrapped. They cant just stand still and one let person wrap an arm, one person wrap a leg, and so on. They must move around and around the body with the toilet paper to create their mummy.

After the Activity Dialogue
Talk about wrapping up a great beginning to the school year or wrapping up a nine week period or wrapping up the instruction right before the TAKS test.
