What is Sold: No products are sold. This is a passive fundraiser where families collect Box Top labels from common grocery items.
About the Program: Families submit Box Top labels from products that carry them, such as Land O’Lakes eggs, Bisquick and General Mills cereals. There is also an opportunity for families to collect additional Box Tops through online shopping.
Support Avai
lable for Schools: On the Box Tops Web site, dozens of printable materials are available to assist with collection and communication with parents about the program. Videos and webinars aimed at coordinators help train them on procedures involved in the fundraiser.
Bottom Line: Box Tops 4 Education is a highly desirable fundraiser program because the barriers to entry are low, and the opportunities for families to participate are high. Clipping Box Tops is a near-effortless step and doesn’t require families to spend additional money. Also, because it’s so easy, it becomes a cinch for schools to encourage high participation rates. This program is a must-do for all schools.
