Mr. Ivan, The Principal Poet

My teachers have no idea
All they expect me to do.
Each day they assign more homework
So much I can't get through!

I've got me a loooong review for math.
(I've been told to show my work.)
Then I've gotta read three chapters too.
Homework's driving me berserk!

My science project's stored away
In a box beneath my bed.
It has to do with bread mold,
And I'm afraid it's up and spread!

I've got research to do for history.
I'm so busy, my head's in a fog.
This homework thing has got to stop --
'Cuz my homework just ate the dog!
