It's the middle of the school year (and
the middle of winter), so help cure
those February Blahs by planning some
special celebrations. You might kill two
birds with one stone by transforming the
double whammy -- Mondays in February --
into special days with special foods.
BAGEL MONDAY
[content block] Meet the staff at the door on Monday morning wearing a "Looking Forward to Monday Morning" or school T-shirt and a smile -- and holding a tray of bagels. Greet them by saying, "It's good to see you. It's going to be a good Monday." Be a model for contagious enthusiasm. (And don't look at your watch if they arrive to work a bit late today!)
SUNDAE MONDAY
Provide all the fixings for ice cream sundaes and allow the staff to create their own scrumptious delights.
MONDAYS ARE A SPECIAL GRIND
Make a sign that announces "Mondays Are a Special Grind" and put it above the coffeepot. Instead of having the usual coffee, have gourmet coffee brewing for the staff.
M & M'S = MONDAY MORNINGS
Greet the staff at the door on Monday morning with M & M ("Monday Morning") candy treats!

The only thing bad about a holiday is that it is followed by a non-holiday.
