Five Resources for Pi Day

March 14 is Pi Day, and Education World has you covered when it comes to websites and resources teachers can use in the classroom. Here are five websites foreducators filled with information, activities, games, resources, apps, and more. 

 
  1. PiDay.org: This site has a brief lesson on Pi and videos teachers can use in their classroom. Here's one titled, "Lose Yourself in the Digits", a rap song modeled from Eminem's "Lose Yourself":

  1. TeachPi.org: TeachPi has a number of crafts, lessons, songs, projects, stories, music, videos, and more for teachers to use in the classroom to celebrate Pi Day. 
  2. NationalPiDay.org: This website has a number of videos, activities, and merchandise for teachers to get their hands on for Pi Day. 
  3. Math Resources for Pi Day: This article provided by the National Education Association offers a list of math activities teachers can use in the classroom. The site provides more than 50 activities to make Pi Day fun and educational. The site also refers to another website with a library of 35 Pi resources
  4. Common Sense: Graphite: This article offers 13 geometry apps, games, and websites for Pi Day, including:
