Thanksgiving resources to use with your students

Need a fun reading on the first Thanksgiving? I wrote a short story about a substitute teacher that takes her students back to witness the first Thanksgiving with purple adventure goggles. I also developed a webquest on the Mayflower and Pilgrims~ a short webquest on Turkeys and lots of links to other materials you might find of use during this month~ including a short read on "What Became of the Mayflower? Did it end up as part of a barn in Great Britain?(with photographs of the barn that I visited). Here's a link to the story:http://www.gailhennessey.com/index.shtml?ThanksgivingMrsP.html and check out my homepage to get links to all the other activities.http://www.gailhennessey.com

Would love to hear if you found the resources to be helpful in your classrooms.

Best~

Gail
