CEDU High School and Middle School's academic program is based on multiple intelligence theory, experiential education, and Arts Infusion approaches. The Science Teacher is responsible to provide classroom instruction to students in core subject areas, and appropriate electives. Our students are highly intelligent, and require creative options in the classroom to optimize their learning potential. The Middle School Dean will assist in the development and delivery of operations, using our curricular approach, to foster success for each student.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Science and Math or equivalent years of experience. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess applicable Teaching Credentials. Minimum three to five years experience in an educational environment, experience working with youth at-risk is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Field experience in supervision of student teaching in physical education preferred. Public school teaching experience desired, team sports background desired. Evidence of research and grant writing desired. First aid or social dance background desired. Demonstrated ability to be responsive to the educational equity goals of the university and its increasingly ethnic diversity and international character.
