In 2000, the Education World Web site underwent big changes!
At the end of 1999, Education World published four to five articles each Monday in our free weekly e-zine. Publishing that online magazine kept me and a small staff of freelance teacher-writers very busy!
Then, last winter, things got even more exciting! I hired a full-time staff of six editors and opened an Education World editorial office. With the added staff, we soon moved from a weekly publishing rhythm to a daily schedule. Instead of publishing four to five articles each week, by the middle of 2000, we were publishing four to five quality articles every day!
PRACTICAL IDEAS FOR YOU!
Practical. Practical. Practical. That's the mantra the Education World editorial content team chants at daily story meetings. If it isn't practical, we don't write it! We have failed you if you don't find a fresh teaching idea each time you visit our site!
Practical was our objective when Education World had a staff of one -- and it has remained our objective as we have grown. At the end of 2000, we're offering more practical ideas than ever!
Our plans for the year ahead include more expansion. Rest assured, however, that no matter how much we grow, our goal will remain the same: Practical. Practical. Practical.
