REVIEW:
Ben Franklin is an integral part of America's history and the birth of the nation. He was also an inventor, philosopher, musician,
scientist and diplomat. While the site is called "A Glimpse of the Man" there is actually quite a bit of information on Franklin's life,
inventions, philosophies, publications, establishments and diplomatic ventures. Connected with the site is a link to the Franklin Institute
Science Museum with online exhibits and information. In addition, there is a page of activities aimed at allowing students to realize that
much of Franklin's ideas are still in use today. These activities include solar energy, electricity and hot air balloon experiments. A link to additional resource materials can be found on
the site as well. Overall, you can start from here to find out almost everything there is to know about Benjamin Franklin.
