REVIEW:
The premise of this site is that gardens can be therapeutic for people. The site has information about professional societies and research related to gardening as therapy. The site also has information on using gardens in schools for educational and therapeutic purposes. Most of the home page has links to outside sites about developing different types of gardens. The information on School Gardens includes a step-by-step guide to setting up a garden at school and curriculum ideas from around the world. Other areas of the site include links to 4-H groups, a school that has set up a garden, and botanic and community gardens. Besides the practical application for users wanting to start a garden, the site can be used by teachers for nutrition, science and civic lessons.
