Occupational Outlook Handbook
http://www.bls.gov/ocohome.htm

A+ CONTENT:
If your child or student is researching career options this is THE site to see.

B AESTHETICS:
No graphics here, like most government sites, which probably tends to bore students....

A ORGANIZATION:
Despite the lack of "guiding" graphics, this site flows smoothly and is easy to navigate.

B REVIEW:
This government handbook (published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Division of Occupational Outlook) looks as if it has gone completely online, I see no lack of data here at this site. Not only does their breakdown of Jobs (called "Outlook for Specific Occupations") include the nature of each job, but also employment conditions, working environment, outlook for the profession, training necessary, earnings statistics, and related occupations. In addition to this area, there is also a valuable page entitled "Tomorrow's Jobs" which gives statistics about the future of the country's jobs and which areas are growing and receding, etc. Although a lot of these pages may seem dry to a student, this site offers an incredible knowledge base for anyone with interest in choosing a career.
