http://members.shaw.ca/applytech/at/at.htm
GRADE LEVEL: Professionals

CONTENT:
This site provides lesson plans in applied technology for older intermediate students and for parents and teachers.

AESTHETICS:
The layout of the site is very clean, with lots of white space. The text is bold and large, which makes it easy to read.

ORGANIZATION:
Each page has a navigation menu at the bottom. Users can return to the homepage from each page.

REVIEW:
Users of this Web site will find valuable information for research, science, and technology projects. One portion of the site lists numerous projects that can be created in or outside the classroom. Viewers begin with an initial sketch of a technological solution to one of the challenges listed. They can then use the research link provided in the lesson plan to find additional information. Teachers and students can then begin making the project. The step-by-step outlines and practical information the site provides make this a great resource for science and technology teachers.
