REVIEW:
KidSource OnLine bills itself as an "an online community that shares our values and goals in raising, educating and providing for our children." The site focuses mainly on health and education related issues and was created by a group of parents who believe "it has been much too difficult for the typical parent to find timely, accurate and helpful information in these areas." The site is organized into a content/answers and a discussion section. Information is categorized into: Newborns, Toddlers, Preschoolers , K-12, Education, Health, Recreation, Forums, Parenting, Computing EDGE, Organizations and Guide to Best Software. The site's forums include such topics as childcare, education, health & safety, toys, parenting and a tutorial forum for kids. Also included in the site is a news archive of stories, events and links to other sites for parents. There is a diversity of information here and most parents will be able to find something pertaining to their situation. Because the authors are well aware of how busy parents are the site is very user friendly. Stop by for a minute -- you'll probably learn something.
