REVIEW:
Educational leaders have formed an alliance to "work together strategically and aggressively to improve student learning in America's public schools." Alliance members include the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, American Association of School Administrators, American Federation of Teachers, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Council of Chief State School Officers, Education Commission of the States, National Association of State Boards of Education, National Association of Elementary School Principals, National Association of Secondary School Principals, National School Boards Association, National PTA, and the National Education Association. The coalition was set up to allow leaders from different areas of the education system to coordinate their efforts. Users will find background information on the group and its members. The site also has news on activities of the group. Any members of the member organizations may want to keep an eye on this site as well. Non-members interested in improving America's education system will find useful information here.
