REVIEW:
Encyclopedia Titanica is sure to whet the appetite of anyone who is remotely interested in this famous ship and voyage. It includes biographies, articles, passenger lists, crew lists, photographs, and much more. Visitors can view an animation of the sinking ship, see a slide show of actual wreck pictures, and take an interactive tour of the deck plans. The material is updated regularly, and the What's New section keeps users up-to-date. Editor Phillip Hind has collected the information presented here from historians, articles and newspapers, and survivors and their families. This material could be used with older elementary and middle school kids for teaching report-writing skills or for older students to use as part of more in-depth research projects.
