Dear Parents
http://www.dearparents.com/
GRADE LEVEL: Parents

CONTENT:
Dear Parents offers advice to parents on learning and technology in a question-and-answer format.

AESTHETICS:
The site has a simple layout with wide margins and few graphics.

ORGANIZATION:
The topical index on the left side of all pages makes navigation easy. Users can return to the main page by clicking on the Dear Parents logo at the top of each page.

REVIEW:
Dear Parents is a subsection of the larger, commercial Edmark site. Although some of the answers do include reference to Edmark products, there is plenty of useful information here for parents seeking answers to their learning and technology questions. Answers to parent questions not only offer advice but also suggest Web sites and publications for learning more. Questions and answers are categorized by subject area and other topics, including Learning Styles, Special Needs, Gifted Children, and Homeschooling. Parents will also find advice on Girls & Computers, Kids on the Internet, Preschoolers & Computers, and Other Topics.
