Colonial Hall
http://colonialhall.com/index.php
GRADE LEVEL: 3-12

CONTENT:
This site contains more than 100 biographies of people who played major roles in the founding of the United States.

AESTHETICS:
The format is unassuming but attractive. Lots of white space makes text easy to read. Users will have to contend with banner ads.

ORGANIZATION:
The biographies are organized into three main categories: Signers of the Declaration, Signers of the Articles of Confederation, and Signers of the U.S. Constitution. Biographies are arranged by state in each category. The left side menu is available on all the internal pages.

REVIEW:
Colonial Hall is a great starting point for students doing research for report writing. Some of the biographies are limited, but there is enough information to begin research. There is a fairly active Public Forum and a Trivia section. Presently, the document section contains only the Declaration of Independence but promises more will come. An onsite search tool helps users find information quickly.
