Connect for Kids: Guidance for Grownups
GRADE LEVEL: Parent, Professional

The site has articles and links to resources for anyone interested in making the lives of children better.

There is a minimal use of graphics and a high use of colors for aesthetics and organization. Spacing and borders are used to present very clean, easy-to-read pages.

The menu is repeated on the left side of each page. The different sections each have their own sub-menu.

Connect for Kids is set up for anyone interested in making a difference in the lives of children and their communities. Users will find the latest news, original articles, and ideas for action on the issues that affect children in their communities. Recent articles have included such topics as children's mental health, the early years, out-of-school time, and the teen years. Additionally, there are pointers to organizations that advocate for children, a searchable index of information concerning children by state, a calendar of events, and a searchable reference room for information and resources on current children's issues.
